When I was living at home during COVID and in between school and starting my first full-time job, I knew I wanted to find something where I could enhance my digital design skills and help out in my community. I approached a store owner at one of my favorite small jewelry stores in town with a proposal to help her build out her online presence and enhance their overall brand. She hired me on the spot to join her and I was able to take over their Instagram page, website, and email outreach - I soon took over content development and was able to increase their overall digital outreach / engagement and increased sales.
